Burnt Ones

BURNT ONES
Think Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Beach Boys, & T-Rex thrown together in a smoke filled
bar & sprinkled in glam. Their debut full length (Black Teeth & Golden Tongues) and 7"
were among my favorite purchases of 2010, so the bands return to wax with their latest 7"
was more than welcome. 300 pressed to gold vinyl, get one via Burger Records! Preview the B-side "LUV" above or the anthemic "Gonna Listen to T. Rex (All Night Long)" from the LP, below.

Big Surr

Beautifully smashed up & melodic female fronted punk. It's the sugar on your bowl of shredded wheat. It's the gravel in your soup. It still warms the belly, but it leaves its mark. Their energy can be intense ("Gone" & "Alright"), or brought to a simmer ("Co Sine Tan Gent" & "You Got Somethin'"), but whatever they're doing at any given moment, it will suck you in. ...Hooks, energy, and sticky & sweet balls of distortion!!...I love this!!!---> Visit the band's blogspot page below and download their highly recommended debut EP Miss You Most & keep an eye out for their upcoming 7" on Infinity Cat.
